A bit of a bummer that there is a loginwall. It says free registered users can read this but I'm tired of giving my email and privacy away.

I understand that they need revenue, but posting this on Lemmy without the text or an archived link to full post is just asking for --I read only the title and am gonna form opinions--

I use a specific email account just for these logins. And a password manager.

I use Proton's SimpleLogin which is very handy for things like this. I used to use DuckDuckGo's Email Protection which is free. SimpleLogin is however more powerful imo.

Both services allow you to just create a new email address whenever you need one and it forwards to your real one.
