Summary

Andrew and Tristan Tate have left Romania for the US after officials lifted their travel ban.

The brothers, arrested in 2022, face charges of rape, human trafficking, and money laundering but were granted temporary permission to travel.

Romania’s government denies US interference, though reports suggest Trump’s envoy discussed their case. The Tates, also wanted in the UK for past allegations, must return for a March court hearing.

Prosecutors accuse them of exploiting women through the “loverboy” method and profiting millions from forced pornography. Both deny all charges.

I remember when I thought Tony Abbott appointing himself 'Minister for Women' back in 2013 was the height of absurdity.

Now the Tate brothers will likely have some position in the US government.

We live in 'interesting' times.

Remember Mitt (Binders Fulla Women) Romney? We were still traumatized by Bush 2 and then there's this scumbag possibly the next president? It feels quaint that I thought we were as low as we could get as a country. Luckily the other less scummy scumbag won... no point in typing out the rest.

We live in ‘interesting’ times.

The old world is dying, and the new world struggles to be born: now is the time of monsters.

He was also the minister of indigenous affairs. Pretty wild for a horrible racist.
