Like we maintain capitalism while it's destroying our environment? It sure is insane how we keep on doing the same "capitalist innovation will fix this" shit while we are eroding the basis on which all life on earth depends.

If you mean global warming caused by fossil fuels, then you should look at the global renewable energy deployments. It's not that capitalism cares about environment but it just happens that renewable power gets cheaper and cheaper causing shift.
