"Conspiracy Theory" was a term that meant things like The MK Ultra Experiments, it used to mean The Iran Contra Scandal. It was created by The CIA to discredit whistleblowers. 9/11 theorists were all called "truthers" but this included people saying outlandishly foolish things like "It was all CGI" and "Jet Fuel Can't Melt Steel Beams." As well as people who said

Makes you wonder if they might have had help? Now what does conspiracy theory mean? Now it means 'The Flat Earth Conspiracy' now it means 'Heliocentrism' and 'microchips in the COVID vaccine.' Conspiracy theory has been subconsciously messaged to us all to mean lunatic. That's why we have had so many "Doomsday scenarios" over the last quarter century. The Y2K error will cause every computer in the world to fail at once and planes will fall from the sky. The Cern Super-collider will open a black hole and destroy the world, The Mayan Calendar will end and kill us all. It was all to condition us to ignore the possibilty of our own destruction.
