When I saw that video Tuesday, this was my first thought. It's painfully on brand
Well, let's face it: logistics and executive details aren't something he is good at. He may have just assumed that since he said it, someone else would make it so. That is, as you say, "painfully on brand."
Just like how he just thought to declasify and nations vulnerability secrets got magically declasified.
Well, for that one there's a video proving he didn't actually think that.
He traveled back in time in his thoughts. You know he can do that. He's very stable genius.
