Boycott US

Overview:

The community dedicated to boycotting the US until they stop fascism, restore full democracy and start following international law.

Americans have a moral obligation to resist Donald Trump and project 2025 at every turn.

America is a flawed democracy currently being ruled by oligarchs. Stop the backslide! Dont let America become the next Hungary.

America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

I have been closing accounts left, right, and centre. I have been diving deep into things, I just wish a community group I belong to did not use zoom and discord! I have been using Unwatched to keep the Googles little money grabbing hands away from eyeballs. I am moving away from my ISPs email as they use exchange. I have moved to a pihole setup to block ads, as most of the ad market is run by US companies (well I was doing that before but paying for youtube premium).

Do you have a good alternative to Zoom as Jitsi is American :/

Jisti is open source, founded in Bulgaria, although now acquired by US company 8x8. But still, open source.

I believe Mirotalk is by a European developer.
