This is off topic but I have never seen a negative downvote. Is... Is that like an upvote but with more steps???

Ah, it does indeed now have a positive 1 in the downvote. You'd think the implementation of ActivityPub would have that be consistent.
Oh, but Piefed support on Voyager is still in beta. Kinda forgot.
