FAQ
- When will insert feature here be implemented?
- Check our issue board--if there isn't an issue open for the feature you want, feel free to open an issue or make post! Just remember that devs are people too--we're doing this for free in our spare time, and building a quality app takes a lot of patient work.
- Is Mlem available for Android?
- No. Mlem is written using SwiftUI, which is not currently supported on Android. If such support becomes available, we will look into bringing Mlem to our Android friends.
- How do I join the beta?
- How do I join the dev team?
- Head over to our recruitment channel, or go straight to our GitHub and read CONTRIBUTING.md to get started.

Apollo, the app right?
I did not, I just sideloaded Apollo and still am using the app.
I’m glad that exploit still works. Though it has a developer account upfront cost to access.
No, not entirely true (luckily). You can use SideStore or AltStore to sideload at least 3 apps freely. The “downside” is you have to refresh every 7 days.
The good side is; SideStore + LiveContainer allows for unlimited apps to sideload and there’s a shortcut to auto-refresh apps each day (so no worries about expiring apps).
However, it is true for most convenience, Apple developer certificate is still the best and usually costs €6-20 euro through third party seller (for one year).
However I’m in Canada. Sideloading isn’t allowed here yet by the government or Apple.
I believe this is talking about the original AltStore, which uses the same mechanism that app developers use to test their apps on device as they're developing and works in any country, not just the EU. You run a Mac app on your local network called AltServer, then the AltStore app on your phone can automatically send .ipa files to the server to get signed or re-signed. As they mentioned, with a free Apple account the signed app is good for 7 days before needing a refresh, if you pay Apple for a developer account it's much longer and you can have more things signed at once.
