There's so many things other than voting to do between being idle and storming the palace, here's a few simple ideas that don't take much effort and don't require you to invest your life into activism, they're a bunch of examples not an exhaustive list or a checklist:

The very minimum contribution you could do would be to not try to spread that mood to others. It'd be a nice start.
