Day 12/31 of TabOKtoberfest
Back in February, u/geekyoldrob asked for brush handle ideas. I had never heard of that happening before, so I jumped on the opportunity. A few days ago, Rob replied with this beauty!
Not only a beauty, this handle is also super comfortable. Maybe unsurprising, since it's basically a screwdriver handle. It's one of my sillier wetshaving indulgences, but none has sparked this much joy in a long while 😊.
The first use of the v28 was a bit funky-smelling (more so than a regular Tabac shave, for the haters :)), but I'm looking forward to seeing how it'll break in.
Thanks u/geekyoldrob!
Finally, I'm loving the Razor of Depravity, a really comfy geometry.
I think it looks like a great ergonomic solution, much like the Rubberset 400 handles. Nothing silly about that. Good to see that I wasn't the only one who thought of a screwdriver shaped brush handle for superior handling. Now someone has to actually make them with a rubberized/silicone coating like my Würth multitool 😏
Right!? We need to make an overmold make it happen
I'd definitely buy one. Personally I think good handling of a brush is as important as the right size and loft of a knot.
