Around 20 years ago, I read an article about three-letter agencies in the US being able to detect computer keystrokes by monitoring residential power meters. In other words, the power company could see what people type. It seemed like a load of BS at the time, not so much now.

Just need an off-the-shelf mobile phone (60k FPS, wow!), and the ability to put a camera centimeters from your mark's device. Didn't see it mentioned, but I wonder how well this works through something like a telescope.
