Following in the footsteps of r/pics and r/gifs, r/aww is also holding a poll to decide whether to go back to "normal" or to only feature images of John Oliver, Chiijohn, or their lookalikes being adorable.

This is the right kind of protest to avoid getting nuked. Make subreddits active but useless. It's not against the rules or r/PotatoSalad and r/Trees would be banned.

If both /r/trees and /r/marijuanaenthusiasts protest though it sort of defeats the purpose.
