we scored two goals and both got called off by the refs for no reason.
we needed to be stronger today - looking ad how they played and how the referees were calling it. Needed to be quicker, move it quicker, test the high line more. Maybe things are different if Arteta was on the touchline. I dunno.
stronger my ass. We were strong, not our fault they literally threw elbows at us and kicked our players in the box with no foul given much less cards.
That's how it's going to be in the premier league this season. We will not get any breaks from the PGMOL. We will have to make our own breaks and they were there today. We just didn't capitalize. We weren't sharp enough to overcome their defense and the shit refereeing. We're going to get tested like this a lot from better and worse teams and we can't expect the referees to save us.
