OF COURSE it was. Nobody would legitimately not sleep with Musk, I mean not want to be his daughter, I mean, not vote the way he dictated unless there was outside influence.

He and Trump and GOP aren't petty there. They inject more distrust about the whole idea of voting. Rich people and corporation can lobby, but they still can't directly buy an election or a cabinet seat in the open. They spend a lot to push up some candidate after ensuring their loyalty, and it seems suboptimal to them. There is a golden moment where you probably can game the system to make max profits and then grab the bag and run. Because democracies are at least stable, and when they roll into dictatorships, you stop playing solitaire, it's now blackjack and you are walking a thin line between bankruptcy and being shot dead by a firing squad, because your elected politician has too much power to be securely bought.
I feel like it's disproportionally favors developing startups\companies\scams who need some boost to start to break even, or old blood that can tolerate some pain if they may consume every other actor on the scene.
There are benefactors to that, and they are the worst people on the market who would only accelerate the collapse for their short term gains.

Perhaps some leading election deniers are motivated by a psychological defense mechanism, but I think that many realize the strategic benefit. The members of the public who are convinced that Democrats steal elections will vote Republican. They'll also be more willing to accept a Republican refusing to leave office after losing an election, if things come to that.
Anyone voting Republican after 2017 is a lost cause. No matter what happens they are voting R. Save your breath and sympathy.
I disagree. While I will never forgive those voters, I don't think most of them are lost causes. They've been manipulated by the largest, most well-funded misinformation and propaganda campaign ever waged against the American people.
Exercising even the smallest amount of critical thinking skills protects oneself against most of it, but no one is completely immune to misinformation.

I keep hearing this around here. Is there any actual reason to think it's true?
Even if the bit about the surgery is true, it's a very reductive explanation of issues which clearly aren't new in his life. He was brought up by far-right parents and his father apparently showed him no love. He has been poisonously insecure all his life, only now he has the power to inflict his psychological troubles on the world. Ever since he got financially lucky in the 1990s, he has had the money to buy influence and pay people to do what he wants, so he has never become equipped to deal with people as equals and has all kinds of issues and insecurities around power. He discovered early that, while he had trouble making friends, he could make an impression on people by being edgy and controversial, and has never managed to move beyond this into a more mature persona.
I feel like saying "it's all because of his wonky penis" trivializes how profoundly this man's life has messed him up, and how many complex factors are at work in his psyche. It also implicitly insults anyone else who doesn't have "normal" genitalia.

Why should we give a single fuck? This guy lies, cheat and sayd himself he thinks empathy is a weakness. Why should have any towards him. He calls everyone he disagree losers, called my prime minister "girl" and openly makes nazi salutes, and you want us to play the "Tell me about chilhood Elon" card? It's not that I feel any particular sympathy for Elon Musk. But I'm sure there are lots of people living with small dicks who don't experience any need to become crazy Nazis, and lots of crazy Nazis with sizeable penises. I just feel this whole "a man needs a big dick to be secure, and any insecure man has a small dick" thing is a somewhat offensive outlook.
The reason to make fun of his dick size is because that's one of the only way that we can get to him. This guys controls half of the planet, the only thing we have is to make fun of him on social networks. You can call him a racist pos, transphobe, hateful, he actually takes prides into this. But call him a small dick and you just know he will spent the night convincing himself he as the biggest dick on the planet. Just like Donald the pedo and crowd size.
I'm sure a lot a men with small dicks are perfectly happy and secure about themselves, because they don't live in a superficial privilege bubble, just like lots of men rock their grey hairs and balding. I looked into it a week or two ago and couldn't find any definitive evidence. It seems plausible because Musk is well known for being into plastic surgery and IVF, but other than a musician who knows Grimes publicly claiming that Grimes confirmed it to them, I didn't see anything that looked convincing.
If he wanted us to care, he should try using empathy. He went in the opposite direction and now reaps what he has sown.
