That's what I'm hearing from these brainless defenders of bigotry... The only time it's appropriate to use IMO is when accurately describing the people who defend its usage as acceptable. They shouldn't even be upset; we're doing what they wanted!

It’s still used today in valid contexts, e.g. in the automotive industry, “retard timings.” The only real slow or dense person seems to be Joe.
