I'm not catholic anymore but I'm getting real sick of people who converted because they like the vibes the religion had in the fucking 1500s.
When you start calling every leader of the Catholic Church a Marxist, you've seriously lost the plot. The American right is ridiculous.
They should cut to the chase and call Jesus a Marxist.

They would have him arrested and detained by plain-clothes ICE agents, held in a Texas concentration camp where he would be bundled with the "illegals," then shipped off to El Salvador to be starved and worked to death... Twice.

MAGA would melt down no matter who they picked because everything maga is doing right now is the opposite of what Jesus would do, and whoever is the pope is going to criticize maga for being terrible humans.

MAGA needs to learn new words. Radical leftist marxist communists (which are all contradictory things) is pretty fucking stupid.
Contradictory? Not at all. Radical just means opposed to the status quo, "leftist" is pretty broad but is generally used to mean "left of the DNC" by politically engaged people and "left of Ronald Reagan" by MAGA. Marxism is a specific foundational political philosophy that identifies and idealizes a communist society.
Just because the monkeys on typewriters don't know the definitions doesn't mean the words don't go together.

Why isn't there a single quote from Pope Leo XIV?
As I told my mother and father yesterday, I firmly believe that under the Trump regime that if for any reason this new Pope comes to America that he'll either be captured and tortured before being killed or just straight up killed for being a traitor.
I didn't care about who the new pope was but he's getting more sympathetic by the minute.
Imagine being more conservative than the Catholic Church.
