Israeli authorities, who have blocked the entry of aid, food, fuel, and medical supplies into Gaza for 75 days, have reportedly decided on a plan that would include “flatten[ing]” buildings and displacing Gaza’s entire population into a single “humanitarian area” if no “deal” with Hamas is reached by mid-May 2025. The dire humanitarian situation stemming from the unlawful blockade and plans to escalate forced displacement and widespread destruction demand a more robust response from other governments and institutions, especially the United States, France, Germany, the European Union, and the United Kingdom. Human Rights Watch called on all parties to the Genocide Convention to do more to prevent further atrocities, including ending weapons sales, military assistance, and diplomatic support to Israel, imposing targeted sanctions on Israeli officials, and reviewing and considering suspending bilateral agreements.

Final Solution, eh?

Lessons from the genocide:

There are no human rights for brown people. They aren't even humans.

"Never again" only applies to Jews and other privileged groups.

Might makes right.

When it comes to genocide Israel learned from the best. This is absolutely sickening on so many levels.

Didn't Israel already have a "deal" with Hamas? They broke it!

If Israel thinks they can kill absolutely all of them, they will take that chance 100 % of the time.

In a Room with 20 Islamists, they'll kill 20 Islamists, 20 Future Islamists, and 30 potential Islamists and create 200 future islamists.

It would be nice if some meaningful sanctions actually happened to Israel rather than everyone just going "oh dear... look at these atrocities! We better discuss them in a less than meaningful manner because no one gives a shit about international law nowadays anyway"

no one gives a shit about international law nowadays

Scares the living shit out of me. The only reason it's them and not me is because I happened to not be born there, and if it can happen to them with no repercussions, it can happen to us.

Yup. I take the Martin Luther King Jr.'s "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.” quite seriously.

People try to counter with "but why do you care about something happening over there on the other side of the world." Morality and ethics aside (I understand that this is a huge asterisk), even from a purely self-interested standpoint they clearly don't understand the big picture.

A majority of the human population aren't even able to understand the small, local, picture.

That's 2.54 cm for the non-Americans
