I mean... I'm not buying a new vehicle this decade if I can avoid it.

I feel like some people I know are on some kind of car subscription service where they get a new car every month.

I mean, leasing is a thing a lot of people do, a lot of people lie about owning things they are actually renting, or pretending they outright own something they're still paying the note on each month...

..., and also, various automakers are now actually beginning to explore the concept of cars as an actual subscription service:

Stupid expensive per month, but you can switch out a convertible in the summer for an SUV in the winter, comes with benefits and insurance and maintenance and other services and what not all baked in.

Sorta an evolution of car rentals.

I'm going to buy a new/used car this decade so I can finally switch to an EV

...but not until my last new car completely dies beyond what my lifetime warranty on it can fix.....ok it might be longer than a decade because it's already going on year 13 lmao

This was my plan until I learned to reduce my driving by like 90% and now it seems less pressing.

The real solution is always in the comments.

I mean.....I'm male.......but I also have no plans on buying a new vehicle.

I'll just hold shift, select all 3 options, and hope for the best.

Bold to assume I have money for a new vehicle in the first place
