Some people would consider cat ears alone enough to qualify as furry. The same kinda people who would make that sign
I was on the internet for long enough, and in the old days, I've seen people calling kemonomimi (animal ears) not only furry, but also "borderline bestiality".

Hope it's permanent marker
You can easily erase permanent marker from whiteboards with regular whiteboard markers.
iirc it's the alcohol in the markers that do the disolving, so better to just get some 70% isopropyl and a cloth
