This is what made me a data hoarder - lost one too many important documents and now I have 12TB of files on my home PC, mirrored across 2 drives and backed up to a 3rd in a fireproof safe. Everything from last year's tax documents to high school homework assignments, it's all there. I may have a problem...

The hype is real, y'all. Being able to instantly find a contract PDF while a contractor is right in front of you is life changing.
This software can never get enough praise.
Wow. I wasn't looking for an awesome document management program that I could self-host, but I think now I retroactively need this.
I operate on the assumption that if it's an important document someone will have a copy of it.
Trust me they don't.
Maybe they will but you have to pay $50 for a copy and $30 for postage
Meh it's worked for 50 years I figure I'll just keep at it.
Well let me tell you as someone who's dealt with this kind of thing in unfortunate circumstances, they only keep documents that benefits them. And that'll screw you hard one day.
