Inciting violence was the reason given for me too. Challenging Nazis is violent to them. Don’t let them normalize this idiocy.
Reddit is such a weird place. A lot of left-leaning people are still on there, even though spez worships Elon and even named Elon as the "inspiration" for all the stupid shit he did to Reddit.
Reddit is nearly 100% AI bots these days on the popular subs. You're good to get away. The interface over here is shite and takes forever to figure out, but the people are nice.

Someone wished Trump would die of disease (and didn't get banned), I wish him a long life and lots of suffering from disease so reddit banned me for advocating for violence (they'd been targeting me)
Reddit is going crazy with the bans. A perma ban can result from something as simple as saying something like "I hope the consequences of not vaccinating are more deeply suffered by anti-vaxxers than by people who are not vaxxed from an allergy or something". After all, that constitutes "hoping for violence/death".
I was banned for showing "extreme indifference" about Kissinger taking a dirt nap.
I wonder if it's because Reddit is now a prime resource for AI scraping, and they don't want it to repeat that anti-vaxxers should suffer more to their cooker clientele 🤔

I got banned for telling a legit Nazi to fuck himself up the ass with a cactus, no lube.
Banned for threatening violence and hate speech apparently.
Yeah, my initial main account ban was because I said "if you try to have a monkey as a pet, you deserve to be bitten by it" on a video of a guy who had a monkey ripping shit up in his apartment and that bites him on the hand at one point.
That apparently counts as inciting violence rather than y'know implying that people shouldn't own fucking monkeys which I felt was pretty clear given the context.
Evidently my angry sounding unban request was not well received.

Hey, hope you enjoy! Been here a couple years myself and enjoy it a lot more than Reddit, though I was never banned from it.
I got perm banned for saying on a post about Nazis in South Dakota gathered on the Capitol steps, I said I was in the mood to punch some Nazis in the face. Reddit can suck it.

Maybe it's just me, but no matter what the ban was for (I'm very aware Reddit is going ban-crazy and has just been shit in general,) I feel it's a bad omen that one community (connected communities, fediverse, what have you) is being largely inhabited by people banned from other communities.
reddit bans people for saying things like "isreal shouldn't be genociding the gazans"
That's what got me banned.

Yeah I did, I said nazi's can go fuck themselves. That got me a warning. Then I said anti-vaxxers are idiots and that forced vaccinations might be a good idea. When I said that they said I was promoting violence and that got me banned. Seriously, fuck Reddit.
I posted a gif of Luigi from Luigi’s Mansion and got a warning for promoting violence or whatever. So I just deleted my account and migrated.

It’s always good to keep your options open. The fediverse has set up guardrails to prevent things from happening here that have already happened out there but anything can fail. I myself have an account on ramble if shit goes bad here. Always have an escape route. Have no loyalty, that will be abused.
Yeah, of course... spez hates discussion of supposedly committing violence by anyone from center to left.
It does not help that they're using AI-assisted profiling, information used by both mods and site admins to determine the number of strikes to ban users.
