Damn a lifetime of dog food is a good deal. That shit just keeps getting more expensive

[–] rcmaehl@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

I don't remember buying anything recently, but I lent $10 which will get me back $15 in a couple days. Infinite money I guess...

[–] PapaTorque@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

A very large plate of chicken and rice. The food part of bodybuilding just got a lot easier.

[–] KingPyrox@kbin.social 3 points 2 years ago

I bought a house with a mortgage so I feel like it already is this 🤣

[–] chmod744username@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Last thing I bought was a book on C programming from Amazon. Guess I'll just die.

[–] safetysandals@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) (1 children)

The anomaly will be generous and allow you to get books on different languages.

[–] arensb@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

C++, C#... And maybe, some day, D.

[–] CookiesAreLife@kbin.social 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I am going to have way to many spatulas considering the one I replaced was at least 20 years old.

[–] MajorHavoc@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

Let's combine forces. My monthly supply of Nintendo Switch controllers and your wooden spoons are a perfect match.

We can sell the wooden spoons, to have money to buy more switch controllers when they develop drift every month.

[–] Kichae@kbin.social 2 points 2 years ago

A lifetime subscription to tea and egg mcmuffins will make my life shorter, but it'll be a happy one.

[–] NewEnglandRedshirt@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

The last thing I bought was groceries. So yeah, I'm pretty happy.

[–] Golfnbrew@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

Omg, I only needed the one laptop replacement plastic case...

[–] MajorHavoc@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

It was a Nintendo Switch controller. I'm resigned that I'll still probably have to deal with drift.

[–] HamSwagwich@kbin.social 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

A&W zero sugar root beer. I guess things could be worse

[–] MajorHavoc@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

You just gave A&W their new slogan.

[–] safetysandals@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

I think that's the slogan for diet soda in general

[–] Aux@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

Alcohol! Hell yeah! Happy days!

[–] poorsocialskills@kbin.social 1 points 2 years ago

It's coffee, so YES.

[–] LongRedCoat@kbin.social 1 points 2 years ago

Underwear. I'm okay with that.

[–] CoderKat@kbin.social 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Oh goodie, I most recently purchased Final Fantasy XVI. What's the granularity of this? Do I just get extra copies of the game (kinda useless, since I bought it digitally) or can I view it as a lifetime subscription to PlayStation games in general (very useful)?

[–] awsamation@kbin.social 1 points 2 years ago

Same issue here. I bought an extra concert ticket from a friend.

Am I getting monthly concert tickets as a general thing? Am I just getting monthly Nickelback tickets (say what you want, this is practically a hometown show). Am I jusy getting monthly stubs of tickets from the exact concert we're attending (tonight)?

Is the friend still involved in these tickets?

[–] Ronno@kbin.social 1 points 2 years ago

I’ll probably have to reinstate the iron curtain, give. That I last bought a couple bags of concrete…

[–] Dagnet@kbin.social 1 points 2 years ago

Last thing I bough was 7kg of top tier steak for about 8USD/kg (converting from my local currency). Seems I will have a nice barbecue every month now haha

[–] awsamation@kbin.social 1 points 2 years ago

The last transaction on my bank statement is a fish and chips dinner. I'm happy with getting a free fish and chips dinner every month.

However, later in the evening I agreed to buy my friends extra ticket to a concert. No money has changed hands, so I don't know if it counts, but the deal is done. So if I'm getting a monthly subscription of concert tickets, that's also a win.

UNLIMITED FRIES

[–] VoxAdActa@kbin.social 1 points 2 years ago

Two new tires and a brake job every month? Excessive, perhaps, but I won't turn it down.

[–] LostXOR@kbin.social 1 points 2 years ago

I bought a month of a rank on a Minecraft server, looks like I'll have that rank forever!

The last thing I bought was a grapefruit IPA on draft. I'm not unhappy with a free monthly draft beer, but I'm not exactly over the moon, either.

[–] ClarissaXDarjeeling@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

Well I'm not complaining, there's nothing wrong with a lifetime of iced coffee. Except that it was decaf, this time :/

[–] falsem@kbin.social 1 points 2 years ago

I bought two cheesesteaks, not bad but I could eat them but frequently than monthly.

[–] Cal@kbin.social 1 points 2 years ago

You now have a monthly, lifetime subscription to the last thing you bought. Are you satisfied with your purchase?

Yes.

[–] Helldiver_M@kbin.social 1 points 2 years ago

I just bought the game Risk of Rain 2. I wouldn't be a huge fan of it suddenly turning into a subscription model, but if I didn't get a say in the matter and the universe somehow chose Risk of Rain 2... then at least it chose a quality game.

[–] ReallyKinda@kbin.social 1 points 2 years ago

I bought Jedi Survivor last night but luckily I bought weed after, so yes, weed subscription, please.

[–] zlatiah@kbin.social 1 points 2 years ago

Last online thing I bought or literally last thing I bought?

Last thing I bought were groceries from the supermarket, I already have a lifelong weekly subscription lol. Last thing I bought online was a cat tree which would be quite an interesting proposition...

[–] PathogenXD@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

Knife sharpening blocks. Time to buy more knives? Start a sharpening business?

[–] AA5B@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

No, not satisfied. I bought refill line for my string trimmer, and I bought it in bulk. I had to pay at least a year’s worth already and now more will be coming every month? Nooooooo

[–] PixxlMan@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

60% mechanical keyboards... Hmm, not so bad. You can never have too many!

[–] Dandroid@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

I'm gonna have so many USB cables. And I'll still probably not be able to find any.

[–] rave_demon@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

PIZZA aw yis lucked out on that one

[–] Meowmoth@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

The last thing that I bought Was avocados, not complaining at all!

[–] Dark_Blade@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

Not sure, I don’t want diabetes (Starbucks)

[–] Kuma@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

Does food count? I was grocery shopping yesterday. But I wouldn't be too happy if I only received what I bought then, some stuff is pretty tasty but I don't need that much oil and soy sauce. I use one bottle for many months haha
