I primarily mean video games. However, if you've played some kind of interesting table top or card game I'd like to hear about that too! I've been replaying the Witcher 3 lately.

I literally just finished the 3D remake of Final Fantasy 3 (PC version) before coming here. After I'm done here, I'm going to start playing Roller Coaster Tycoon Deluxe.

I also somewhat recently finished the original PC version of Doom 3 and it's expansion pack. I understand why people don't like it as much as Doom 1 and 2 but I still think the game was good.

Tabletop ?

Alice is missing is a must play if you're into Narrative RPG, but currently playing a Coriolis campaign, the popular space RPG by free league

Finally got around to playing Devotion by Red Candle Games. It's a super good horror game, but without getting into spoilers, I absolutely would NOT recommend this to parents, holy shit. Shame that the CCP bombed this game into obscurity, the devs did not deserve this.

I started to play RE2: Remake somedays ago. Has been a struggle since I only have like 2 hours to play per day. Yesterday started the second part of the game with Claire, and man, I laugh my ass off because the fucking zombies doesn't let her take a breath.

I've been playing on void linux with GE-Proton10-15 (GE-Proton10-19 came out like 3 hours ago, for someone's information)

Damn I haven't played an RE game since probably RE6. I've always loved horror movies but I think I'm too much of a big baby to play horror games regularly.

[–] capuccino@lemmy.world 4 points 2 days ago

I skipped RE6 and all of the RE: Revelations games. I can't play those games because I can't handle the action factor that they have. Still, the last RE games I played were RE7 and RE8. I loved them, especially 8.

The Invicible and Outer Wilds, eat some edibles or/and shrooms with these games and you'll be so hella immersed. Absolutely great sci-fi/space exploration games

King's Reign has been fun, deck builder Roguelike where you play soldier cards and they combo while marching left to right along a board with three lanes.

Just finished my annual Far Cry 2 play through, and it was as chaotic and random as ever.

Rdr1 which is what got me in the series (and also into spaghetti westerns).

Unfortunately I'm dealing with a bug that's hiding all my wolf pelts so I can't sell them, and asking on reddit just gets me downvoted for whatever fucking reason.

The next game I'm gonna try is Night in the Woods, I heard some good things about it.

works beautifully (for me, ~40 fps) with ultra settings @1440p on my thinkpad with igpu :)

I've gone back to playing Ghost of Tsushima, for the first time, a bunch recently. Took a long break from it after Act I, but just because I didn't want to marathon it all at once. It's probably my favorite melee combat game that isn't a full-fledged RPG, and the story is fantastic. I'm really glad that it's more grounded in realism, for the most part, rather than relying on fantasy gimmicks and magic. Plus playing it with Japanese audio is an absolute treat.

I've been playing a lot of Mechwarrior Online and Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries recently, but Singleplayer Tarkov just released their 4.0 update/overhaul so I'm starting that as well.

Just finished Sunderfolk with a group of friends and my wife. Also finished Expedition 33 (and I'll never stop talking about it).

I'm about halfway through Dodgeball Academy and Chants of Sennaar. They're a fun little distraction before I dig into Blue Prince and Hades

I genuinely dont know if luddo is a global game? Does everyone know of luddo?

[–] Chippys_mittens@lemmy.world 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Never heard of it, but, I am dumb...

Its a board game. Ideally 4 players. 3 can do it too. 2 is not fun imo.

Try it. Theres active website and apps for it too.

Its so basic that it will take under a minute to learn and 2 games to master

I just booted up my Project Ozone 3 Minecraft server again. Thats fun. Sword of the Sea is also great, recent release by Giant Squid.

I just started Cryptmaster today and it’s even better than I was anticipating!

It’s charming, wryly funny, and the art style is incredible. It’s as close to a lighthearted D&D session in tone I’ve experienced and I adore it.

Got it in a pick-your-own bundle alongside Meg’s Monster which I’ve yet to play but still excited! Haven’t regretted it yet.

Not battlefield 6, i dont get the hype, at least my gameshare friend bought it himself because he wanted it, feels worse than 2042 in some ways

Been hitting up my local Killteam scene recently.

Patrick's Parablox is a bit of a head spin.
