A lot of of "old media" celebrities are big into Trump and the right wing these days. I guess it is new things being pushed for by progressives like trans rights and acceptance, even more equality for women, etc make them uncomfortable for a variety of reasons. So they retreat to something that feels safe by comparison.

This guy, man. Every other week it seems there's a reason for the Internet to do a 180 on their collective opinion of him. In this case, credit is due. We could all have more humility as a society.
