I wouldn’t presume on my friendship with a raccoon by putting a leash on one.

Unless they’re into that sort of thing.

Ecstatic consent is clutch.

I think if you wanted to train a raccoon you'd be better off starting with a baby one and hand raising it

But where's the fun in that?

Bruh you can probably train them off leash. Just start very young and don't get bit.

Generally what I’ve heard is that raccoons are very sweet and docile when young. They turn problematic as pets as they age.

My dad feeds raccoons every night and they're basically just like any other animal. They like having food and some company. I've gotten down on the ground with them before as they took a cookie from my hand and ate it. There's times we joke about how they act exactly like our dog when they see anyone in the kitchen and think they're about to get some food.

I feel personally attacked.

I've read the same. They are very smart and will get into all kinds of trouble.

That’s probably just about any mammal.

I bet a polar bear cub makes an amazing pet for … at least some small window of time

Will take too long. train them with heroin. they'll do anything you ask them for it.

now I'm wondering if anyone has even tried using hard drugs to train animals.

I'm assuming it has happened many times and always resulted in unmitigated disasters

What are the proletariat?

edit: my bad; misread that as "patients".
