I get looking at terrorism as a simple data point and then saying left wing terrorism is on the rise. When there's more violence then it's indicative of underlying problems.
But most of the time the conversation implies people need to clean up their act. Politicians must stop using charged language. People must chill out.
In that vein, I'm curious how much left wing violence is real. When people are getting shot down for trying to get abortions, getting put on lists...
That's like playing half a chord progression.
But when you fight back, that's also a terrorism. Hitting the bully is still violence, and can't we all just chill?? Lmao
A report from Trump and gang. More fact-free bullshit to feed their propaganda mills.
Right wing fascists marching in the streets. Pulling Americans from their homes in the middle of the night. Kidnappings and disappearing. Nope not violence.
Resisting any of that? So much for the tolerant left.
Remember that a few days before the Kirk shooting, right wingers started to push the narrative that being Trans should count as a mental disorder and Trans people shouldn't be allowed to own guns.
Remember that within minutes of the shooting, talking heads (and some officials) started claiming that the shooter was Trans. And when that was disproven, they started claiming that the bullets had Trans messages on them. When that was disproven they dredged up an old roommate who is Trans.
Remember that within hours of the shooting, the FBI pulled down their domestic terrorism stats page.
This is the next target. They're constructing a narrative that Trans people and their allies are dangerous lunatics, and should be the next group rounded up and put in death camps.

Americans romanticize the violence of the past. But they refuse to allow talk of violence as a path forward. Destruction of property was righteous when they threw tea in the harbor but it's wrong to talk about it now.
