Why not use the *Arr stack + Plex (or Jellyfin) to automate your media? Download stuff automatically in the quality you specify.

Seconded, amazing software. I use jellyfin for playback.

I can't believe how these two great pieces of open source software were originally made for windows...

TIL, Interesting, i didn't know that. I switched to docker for my stack last summer, updates are more automated, and less overhead imo.

This is the way. There are lots of great resources to get you started. It can be fun to learn something new. I would check out trash guides docker compose setup.

This is also a great resource.

Oh, hmm. Radarr uses themoviedb to show you a calendar of when a movie will be released digitally. If you go to a movie in themoviedb there's a dropdown menu above the movie poster that says 'Overview', select 'Release Dates' there and you'll be able to see when it comes out digitally (meaning streaming services). Before that date it's a guarantee you won't find anything but cams.

I wonder if there's something that can be done in Seren to filter out those cams... Perhaps a blacklist with some words like 'cam'?

Manually, it used to be squawkr.io but now PreDB.me can serve the same purpose. Still rather suggest Arr stack for automation.
