im really liking how lemmy works and i think its interesting to learn about the details and i like the philosophy it runs on. im glad to be a part of this community!

The activity would be so huge today if the servers could cope. I've had to give up on so many comments.
I have that too, but despite the error prompts seems that they are being posted π€

Friendly reminder to donate to your home instance if possible! Every little bit helps :)
Is there any concern that world's population might overload the server? I keep reading that we need to spread the server load to other instances.
This is inevitable. Eventually instances might decide to share server capacity to accomodate more users. World is my home instance but it's really slow. Takes me 10 tries to post something or view comments. Hopefully I can post this without issues.
I'm here to stay, I love semi-niche social media sites :)
