Things can only get better!

I am enjoying the experience I must admit and I can't wait to see how things pan out 6 months from now. I am certainly sticking with it for the long run. Wefwef.app is amazing to interact with.

Just fine. Spent last week editing all my comments with PDS. On Monday, I deleted my account and I'm only here so far.

Social media in general has been shit. Not that they ever were very good, but it seems to be worse.

It's good. You get accustomed to something, so there's still a little loss there, but this platform has a lot of promise and I appreciate all of you who make it what it is!

It's good. It has the pre-Digg.com migration vibe that early Reddit had. Niche communities are hard to get started, but that's to be expected.

I'm a cat and currently I'm loafing in a corner of the room on my own cushion.

Translation: I am enjoying the peaceful moment looking at people doing their things here.

I like that its federated to prevent hierarchical abuse. I dislike the seams of that federation reducing ease of use and reducing population growth, thus reducing the size of niche "Communities" (as Lemmy generically calls them).

I need my subs so I still visit Reddit begrudgingly if only for those. Once those more niche communities grow even slightly big enough for a common back and forth though I'll probably fully abandon Reddit.

I'm enjoying the discovery phase a lot more than I did with Mastodon, which I've largely abandoned now. It still has a way to go but it's fun seeing it grow.

I'm really unironically loving it. The range and depth of topics and discussions is growing by the day and it's a wonderful feeling to realise that these communities are, by design, safer from the clutches of Silicon Valley capitalists than they ever were on Reddit. I'll pitch in, I'll donate, shit I'll even try host stuff if needs be. I can contribute to this project and I find that immensely exciting.

I wish it hadn't taken me so long to realise what was going on here but I have only spez to thank for making me see the light. Attaboy, Steve.

Pretty damn confusing. So far I’m not liking it. I can’t find the type of subs I followed on Reddit and yeah idk man

It's not bad! UI could use a few tweaks on Mobile though.

Is actually really nice, I like the separated servers. I can generally filter the amount of communities I see from just my interests, to my local server and then wider. One I found out I could search for and join communities I realized I could stay here

Been using Thunder through Test Floght and it’s been pretty nice. I’m sure with time it’ll get better and more populated but I don’t mind the calm right now.

Enjoying it so far I think. It's hard to say. Smaller, less content, some of the things I followed haven't made the jump(and I don't have enough time on my hands to help jump start them).

Been using my phone a lot less to doomscroll, and other nonsense so I'vr had more time to work on some hobby projects and such.

Overall though it feels like a good replacement.

Enjoying it so far. It is definitely taking some getting used to. Was testing Liftoff! And now on Memmy. Finding Memmy to be more enjoyable especially with being able to set dark for ease of visibility.

Its better in a lot of ways and I have fully switched, didnt look back since.
