Cannot Leave Reddit Because Of Snoovatars (lemmy.ml)

Reddit is unlike other platforms: Snoovatars. While old.reddit.com users can easily leave Reddit, people like me who use new.reddit.com enjoy seeing Snoovatars and how adorable they look. Many other sites have ugly profiles and bland formatting, but what makes Reddit great is the playfulness of the avatars because you feel like you are talking to your alien friends. I cannot live without seeing their faces :(

It's not the snoovatar on your profile, but the snoovatar within your heart that counts

I am talking about everyone's Snoovatars, not just mine, though, thank you for your comfort :)

I think that's fine. You should probably keep using Reddit, that is the direction they are going.

Edit: if you're using new.reddit.com nothing is going to change for you bud lol

I typed this is a test on my main account where my alternate account was banned, and I quickly deleted it because I was testing whether I could comment, but the mods reported it to Reddit and got my account permanently suspended. Since I was previously banned for vote manipulation and report abuse, I got IP banned, so I can no longer make new accounts.

After getting sitewide banned for vote manipulation and report abuse... you created two new accounts, got one banned from a sub, then tried to post to that sub with yet another account?

What you posted, how quick you deleted it, and what account is your alt vs your main is just extraneous. You're lucky you lasted this long after a sitewide.

If you're that addicted, call up your ISP or use a VPN for a different IP address.

I never even used those because they let you use any image as a PFP before they even introduced those. I could have made my own Snoo and not had to use what they provided.

And I have that feature on Lemmy, too.

Snoovatars were just NFTs lite. I never liked them. Thank god that they aren't available on old.reddit

Lemmy supports user avatars, they just won't be forced into a unified design style like the snoovatars (gag) as you can just upload an image.
