Yeah, just got a temp ban for apparently wrongfully reporting a post. Fuck that place

Trying. But the experience isn't all there yet.
Yep, there's just a couple communities stuck on Reddit that I still look at, but overall I'm around 80% Lemmy 20% Reddit now.
I've mostly moved here, though some of my favorite subs dont have an equivalent community here as of now and I'm a bit bummed about losing them.
I am definitely replacing Reddit with Lemmy/kbin. I am done with Reddit.
Yep
Iβm trying to, but finding a good client and trying to find replacement communities isnβt as straight forward as Reddit was.
Iβll be spending more time on here since I got a random 3 day ban without a reason. This has been happening every few months.
Welcome!
For clients, https://lemmyapps.netlify.app/ has a good list.
For communities, you can use https://lemmyverse.net/communities
Trying to
Yeap, I moved a week before on Lemmy. Took couple of days to figure out how it actually works.
During that time opened a bunch of accounts on different instances.
Now I am on a small instance, which is near my location, so speed is good.
I stopped visiting that place since then. Now I only contribute here. I don't want to give them free labor so that they can make money.
I'm sussing out Lemmy as a replacement. I still go to Reddit but I've pretty much stopped all interactions other than just reading . Reddit has now become a place to fill the blank time in my day between the times I'm busy. Hopefully Lemmy will become a replacement soon than later.
I made it cozy already at Squabbles.io, but I'm giving Lemmy a try. Since Joey still works I do browse Reddit now and then.
TBH I could have continued using Reddit as it was in may. Now I'm basically kicked off of a Reddit experience that doesn't treat me like livestock in a cage (the official app). So here I am.
Mostly.
All I'm on Reddit for now is to watch it burn and to participate in the one subreddit I truly care about on there. I'm not participating in anything else on there at all.
Yup. I was checking in with reddit for a while there but have stopped. I like the vibe of this place so far.
Yes. I stopped using Reddit during the blackouts and havenβt turned back. Lemmy so far has been a good replacement in all ways. Fuck spez!
For actual conversations, yeah. I still check one subreddit daily for game leak updates, but that's pretty much it.
Not entirely just yet. Reddit as a source of information is incredibly valuable and Lemmy has yet to become that for me.
How do you find your favorite community? Can't anything yet. I'm using connect on Lemmy.world. every search ends up with nothing much.
Well, this is nice, hello
I registered to try it out. Looks nice so far. Hopefully more users switch and start filling this place with content.
I like it way more here. It's so much faster and there are no ads.
The reddit app is just bad and slow.
Iβm fully on Lemmy now except when I need to find historical information - for example episode discussions from a TV show or how to fix computer issues, etc.
Still checking Reddit a bit, but mostly because I've been following the war in Ukraine there a lot. Not checking other subs as much and installed Lemmy Connect, which makes Lemmy nicer to use than Reddit
I am 100%. Sadly i donβt think most Reddit users will until lemmy becomes easier to use and gets a functioning IOS app.
