Let's go! Welcome to lemmy
This made my day π
Yes. My username says it all. Late to the party because the fortress of Lemmy has been extremely difficult & discouraging to scale but today I finally did it.
I've replaced all discussion on Reddit with Lemmy. I still browse Reddit due to it still having some communities with content I still have to access such as Jumpchain and modding Elder Scrolls.
Yeah trying to at least. Signed up on lemmy.world and using wefwef atm. Wont be using reddit for much longer I don't think
Yup
I've moved all my normal hobby discussions over here and am only using Reddit as part of my job. (85% of Tech Support is finding someone who had the same one-off issue 8 years ago, and usually the answer is in a Reddit thread)
Considering how quickly the third party system is coming up for Lemmy, I envision my reddit engagement to drop to zero soon enough. For now, Lemmy just doesn't have all the info that Reddit has and that is fine considering Reddit has been there for a long while
well yeah for the most part but it has been tough as some of my communities have are non existent here or little activity so i still go through old reddit and look at some subreddits.
I only post on lemming now
Yes. I'm looking forward to better search functionality on instances though. It's kind of hard to search if something's been asked or posted already on mobile (using Liftoff, but I've also tried Jerboa and Connect)
Interesting username lol
I use both side by side, I'm hoping for Lemmy to grow, but I know that in the near future Reddit will still continue to be active
