I second this. Despite the reversion of the proposed changes, I am still concerned with the lack of transparency and disappointed at how the recent situation has been generally handled.
Thanks for hearing us and continuing to allow all types of apps here. FOSS is an amazing model for some projects, but some of us simply want to protect the rights of what we create or we’re looking at other models to help Lemmy become more sustainable

Seems like an improvement. Curious what other people will say, I guess it might still seem unfair to have such a distinction, as I guess FOSS apps wouldn't have to be tagged.
If I were a closed source dev, I might ask if my app is welcome here, and to Lemmy as a whole.
No foss will have to be marked too

Your sentence could be interpreted in two ways, depending on what the "nothing else" refers to, as I stated above.

Could you please restore the poll thread? That would be nice too, a lot of people brought valuable comments in there, and now it can't be accessed anymore, which isn't nice either.

Then please do it, restore the other thread when people brought the other arguments against the changes, and call it a day.
There's no crying, just reporting non standard moderation behaviours.

Could you please restore the other one (community update I think?) Basically the one where @silas@programming.dev , that person from Kbin and @brickfrog@lemmy.dbzer0.com expressed our concerns with how the poll was handled?

Unrelated, but could you remove the full stop and capitalise "Tools" in the community display name. I get unreasonably annoyed when looking at it.
