Pre brexit it was not uncommon to import Japanese cars via the uk, as if it was approved in the uk it would legal in Denmark and then brexit happened.

You'll have to check if one has been imported before. If not, there's a whole type approval process it needs to undergo. An easier way is to import it to then from another European country first due to harmonization rules.

Expect to pay a lot for it. Is it because you are moving to Denmark? Could be just cheaper to sell it in Japan and buy a used car in Denmark.
