I don't know for how long I've used sync and Sync is a reminder that social media is only as good as the tools let it be. I'm not convinced I would've converted to Lemmy if Sync stayed with reddit.

As a slight side tangent to your comment, currently I'm doing a unit on Human Computer Interaction and the very point they stress is that you could have the most fantastic, awesome, never failing, robust system, but if the frontend is bad and is hard to understand and doesn't follow standard design principles, the system being great doesn't even matter because users get frustrated and leave your entire app.

Installed and subscribed. I wasn't a paid user of sync for reddit but I think it's important now.

I would do pro but not doing a subscription for ultra. Liftoff is good enough for me for now until a pro version comes out that's reasonably priced

Just wondering, is there a known issue about hidden posts? I hide them with a swipe action, but when in refresh the feed later on - the hidden posts appear once again.

Are we absolutely married to the idea that "upvotes" are orangered and "downvotes" are perrywinkle? I mean it works and we all understand the visual queue but lemmy has a chance to be different. Some people don't even want to call them upvotes and downvotes anymore. Just my thoughts... So far, I like sync a lot! Though I have to agree with a few other users that the font is small but I kinda like it. I didn't realize how much scrolling I did just to read something.
