Afternoon everyone,

I wanted to go over a few points related to pricing, stats and the roadmap

Pricing

Sync for Lemmy is completely free with ads (the same as Sync for Reddit)
You can remove ads in the account picker or drawer for a one time fee of ~$20
Sync Ultra also removes ads but it's not required
I'll be working on regional prices over the coming weeks

There are now 24k installed users up from 100 the previous day!

I'm going to be spending the next few days going through all of the comments / messages and fixing any crashes.

The app is brilliant. Only complaint is that the ability to submit posts isn't there yet, otherwise this app would be close to feature-complete.

Did you have an ETA for posts?

Best app for Lemmy that I've tried so far and I'm sticking to it for now. I used Joey on Reddit and I miss 2 features that Joey had that Sync does not.

Full screen media cards - this allows swiping between full screen posts

And filter out posts - with this I could easily scroll only gif/video or just text posts

Would be if the dev could implement these.

Pricing will this app make more money with advertising revenue from me or the one off payment?

I am lucky enough to have Google play credit so can pay but just wondering to pay it not to pay?

I downloaded the free version for now but where are people seeing ads btw? I don't want them obviously but I'm yet to see any lol
