Lemmy is shitty with handling photo uploads. (lemm.ee)

Each time you attempt to upload a photo, the outcome is determined by the roll of a die: if you roll a 6, the photo uploads successfully; for any other number, the upload fails.

What on the lemmy ui or an app? If so which app?

You are on the lemm.ee instance where the owner has a very strict limit on media upload size. You are encouraged to use third-party image hosting options instead. If you don't like this, switch to another instance.

I can't switch without deleting the current account and opening a new one, all for nothing.
