But it takes more money to sterilize. What I can do is give them the basic security of not letting the kittens go hungry 🫣
Contact your local animal control/ordinance officer. Our local officer helps with providing food and live traps. They go to our local Humane Society for sterilization and are dropped back off in the neighborhood post recovery.
We feed our local strays, opossums, skunks, racoons, foxes, and deer. We're also in the heart of the suburbs with a major intersection 2 blocks away.

having cats(or dogs) in apartments all day like many people do is probably the most horrible thing in modern culture, people think having animals in an apartment means they're cat lovers or dog lovers.
I quite agree with you. Animals need freedom.
With more than eight stray cats, it's a big expense to keep the kittens fed.
