Looks like something from Control.

That game concept still has so much potential, I'm kind of bummed they're focusing on Alan Wake again first. Let's hope they do give us a sequel/prequel at some point.

I'm more interested in some Max Payne action myself.

New York really needs to get their shit together. They have the most anomalous memory zones of anywhere in the country. I don't even get the logic of running the metro in a deja vu area. If this continues, they risk a mass memory incident where the entire city gets forgotten. Hell, I don't even remember the name of my cousin who lives there.

I believe the idea is that you need regular scheduled events to mask the deja vu. The metro is perfect for that. You can't risk people having too many one-off experiences in these kinds of zones otherwise you're ripe for memory leaks. It looks like you may have been affected, I've reported this account to the Federal Bureau of Memory for immediate quarantine.

What does MTA stand for in this context?

[–] subignition@kbin.social 11 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Metropolitan Transit Authority

[–] TWeaK@lemm.ee 2 points 2 years ago

Is that like the NYTA?

[–] ramjambamalam@lemmy.ca 10 points 2 years ago

Hey, I'm calling you back, ooh, she's been a bitch tonight! And by "bitch," I mean this rain, no cabs nowhere. So I had to put on the wigs and the heels and the lashes and the eairh and take the train to the club And you know that MTA should stand for "Motherfuckers Touching my Ass."
