on the other hand, as someone who lives in South America, yeah it's kind of fucking annoying how people refer the the US as "America"

As someone who was born in South America, it still kind of bothers me when people calls the US America, as if it was the only country in the whole continent :/
In this case I also thought he meant South America at first, but it's pretty obvious that he means the US
