I love grammar Nazis

If I make a grammar or spelling mistake, I’d love to be corrected.

Obviously, Nazing typos (a apple, the the beach, etc.) or intentionally made errors (starting a sentence with a lowercase, saying “id” instead of “I’d”, etc.) is annoying and stupid, but when I make mistakes like “breath in”, “immigrate from”, “alot”, “this will effect the economy”, and “I’ll tell mom”, I’d love to be corrected.

PS: it’s cactuses.

"I love grammar, nazi"

I've noticed people on Lemmy are a lot more receptive to my subtle corrections. They come from a place of love, and it's nice when they're received as such. I welcome the same corrections for my own typos and errors! Let's all be less wrong together.

I may be blind, but what's wrong with "I'll tell mum"?

@kd637_mi The M should be capitalized when the word is used similar to a proper noun.

- I love my mum, his mum, and all their mums.
- I love you, Mom.
- Hey, Dad, where's your mom?

Depends on which side of the pond you're living

The wrong side spells it "mum".
