Itβs an open protocol so itβs very much doable.
Your profile should have options to check if you're a bot account, as well as if you want to see bot accounts.
So I'm sure bot accounts are possible, I just don't know any specifics.
Yes, there are existing Lemmy bots doing useful things for participants. For example, the folks on mtgzone.com have a bot that responds to specially-tagged comments and provides useful links specific to their topic.
