Mushroom mushroom πŸ„πŸ„

[–] USSMojave@startrek.website 4 points 10 months ago

My exposure to these badgers was a "banana phone" music video, so I always hear that when I see them πŸŒπŸ“±

[–] Rhaedas@fedia.io 19 points 10 months ago

Huh, a gif with sound. Now it won't stop.

[–] BearOfaTime@lemm.ee 17 points 10 months ago

Damn you, beat me to it. And now I have that song in my head.

[–] Bishma@discuss.tchncs.de 8 points 10 months ago

Thank you. The further I scrolled down the comments without a reference, the more uncomfortable I felt.

And the bottom one applies more to the woman than the cat.

[–] Damage@feddit.it 10 points 10 months ago (1 children)

One of them has war paint, the other got drenched while changing the car's oil

[–] SynopsisTantilize@lemm.ee 7 points 10 months ago

And the wife is yelling about dinner getting cold. He's got 10 bolts on the ground but has no idea why there are only 9 threaded holes for bolts. And hey wait....he's changing the oil, what could he possibly have taken 9 bolts off of.

To be clear, both will drag you into a back alley and pull a shiv on you though.

[–] finitebanjo@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago

And the American Badger is actually addicted to Meth as well.

[–] fleet@lemmy.ca 37 points 10 months ago

I'm pretty sure the thing on the left is a Wolverine. There are definitely badgers in North America that look a lot like the one on the right.

[–] Stovetop@lemmy.world 35 points 10 months ago (5 children)

But what about the Honey Badger?

[–] happysplinter@lemmy.world 53 points 10 months ago

My understanding is that honey badgers care little for anything in particular.

[–] OpenStars@discuss.online 25 points 10 months ago

Honey badger does whatever it wants!

[–] jelloeater85@lemmy.world 15 points 10 months ago (2 children)

Ain't nothing to fuck with.

[–] negativenull@lemmy.world 13 points 10 months ago

[–] brossman@infosec.pub 18 points 10 months ago

european badgers are the friendly ones from redwall abbey

[–] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 18 points 10 months ago

Prolly the European ones have healthcare.

[–] lightnsfw@reddthat.com 16 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Everyone knows European badgers live in a volcano forging weapons for their rabbit army.

[–] HexesofVexes@lemmy.world 15 points 10 months ago

Badger on the left just saw his healthcare bill. Badger on the right ate some bad beans and is contemplating the nature of regret.

[–] collapse_already@lemmy.ml 7 points 10 months ago

Where is the African badger in this discussion?

(Not giving a fuck)

[–] BearOfaTime@lemm.ee 7 points 10 months ago

That's just so you're oblivious to what's about to happen.

Scared prey doesn't taste as good.

[–] moncharleskey@lemmy.zip 7 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago) (1 children)

Badgers? Badgers?! We don't need no stinkin' BADGERS!

[–] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 3 points 10 months ago (1 children)

You get to drink from the firehose!

[–] moncharleskey@lemmy.zip 2 points 10 months ago

[–] Fermion@feddit.nl 5 points 10 months ago

Wisconsinites are proud to look like the one on the left.

[–] Alpha71@lemmy.world 4 points 10 months ago
[–] doingthestuff@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Now let's compare European and Australian native wildlife. Europe just has been beating their native populations down for millennia. No surprise they're embracing all of the societal controls.
