Probably on the podium if it is dry. Else it should still be enough for a top 5 result.

I think this is very much a best case result for Mercedes. The Red Bull and the Aston were clearly faster and even the Ferrari should have been on the same level.

On race pace Merc will probably be faster than AM

  • Hulkenberg 3 places for speeding under red flag
  • Sainz 3 places for impeding
  • Tsunoda 3 places for impeding
  • Stroll 3 places for impeding

Jepp that should be it.

I'm still thinking that Sainz was really lucky, that there is only a 3 place drop for impeading independent of the exact situation.

But Bottas is right behind Ferrari and Red Bull. What an achievement!!
