Cannot release yet because I need to "plugin out" the youtube part which was integrated directly into the flutter app in my earlier builds, will be open source

Would be my software

I thought because some people wouldn't know about the app and may think they have to pay

The same opensource app, downloadable on both stores but paid on playstore and free on fdroid. Is it legal and is it ethical? Why?

I agree, I am not the one that made the app. But anyway it's exactly the same with github apk releases. Just build the app with the code and compare I guess ?

Snap is shit. I started using flatpak because apt didn't support apps that I wanted and snap only supported ancient releases. .deb is annoying too and .appimage I don't like to have the files hanging there

Hello, I'd like to build a mobile client for mastodon, lemmy and pixelfed that would be video/image focused with a scrolling ui similar to tiktok or the reddit video viewer.

You would have a sortable/filterable feed with contents from different activitypub networks and would see it full page with a like/voting button on the right and the comments under.

Does anyone know if such a client already exists, and if not, could any dev share starter point links for building such an app ?
