Great shave this morning with Roman Spice in the Highland base. A slick, glossy lather gave way to a close comfortable shave. The scent also got the wife's approval.

Excellent lather, incredible shave, and refreshing aftershave. I need to use Two Kings more often.

• Lather: Barrister and Mann - Reserve Fern - Soap
• Post Shave: Mäurer & Wirtz - Sir Irisch Moos - Aftershave
• Fragrance: Armaf Perfume - Tres Nuit - Eau de Toilette

The Reserve base was being quite reserved this morning when it came to loading the brush. I managed to load enough for the first pass, a drippy, thin lather, which provided adequate protection. After building the lather on my face, I immediately loaded more soap to use for the second pass.

Despite the lather issues, the shave was great, and the scents were just what I needed.

This morning I needed something quick and dirty (by dirty, I mean clean). I haven't done Tabac Tuesday in months, so today's return to this classic was extremely nice. A beautiful lather, and a close shave!
