Today is some more oblivion. I don't know what it is but it feels like i went from crashing like maybe once a week, to multiple times a day as time has gone on. Welcome back Fallout New Vegas for the PS3 i guess. I did go ahead and knock out a decent portion of the Mages guild intro though without crashing which is nice. I did about 4 of the recommendation quests before a crash took me out.

The gold road one i spent like ten minutes just walking up and down it because the NPCs just would not show up. I walked past the same guard like 20 times. He must have thought i lost it. Eventually though the lady showed up and i killed her, completing the quest.

During the quest where you save the guy from Zombies, the lady behind the counter's legs were just straight up missing. No clue where they went but i guess she decided she didn't need them.

I don't know if this relates too the slow down and crashes i've been having but i went by the Imperial city to drop off the ring of burden (i decided to keep it as a keepsake) and the trees refused to load for a good few minutes. They eventually loaded in but for a while they were this blocky mess.

While out i also ran into Glarthir. He grew a beard. I don't like it. I normally would do his quest on the spot but i was in the middle of a Mage's Guild quest and wanted to finish it before i crashed, so i held off on doing his quest for now.

The games look great even to this day. I'm personally a huge fan of PS2 graphics and how it forced artists to rely on style rather than "realism."

It's pathetic how resources will need to be wasted on making a remastered version of something that doesn't even need it just so a new audience can participate in a mini hype cycle.

Maybe it won't be until we're 60 and we realize that the best games are the ones that stand the test of time, similar to movies. Too many people are still in their adolescent phase of gaming where the only things worth playing are the things released current year.

Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox handheld, likely releasing by 2027, may feature a Switch-style docking system, allowing both handheld and TV play. Reports suggest two handheld projects: one by ASUS (possibly 2025) and a "true" successor by Microsoft (2027). The latter may use Qualcomm chips, support games from Microsoft Store, Epic, and Steam, and could even run PlayStation titles—a first for Xbox. However, details remain unconfirmed. Release timelines vary, with some pointing to 2027 and others to 2028.

Valve has now published a statement confirming that "the recent leak being reported did not breach Steam systems" and that Steam account passwords aren't affected.

Today's game is some more Xbox 360 edition of Minecraft. I left my treehouse unfinished last night and wanted to give it a proper job so i spent like a whole hour working on it. I discovered it was right nearby the Mushroom island which is great. I plan to eventually take a trip over there to get a Mooshroom.

I built this little rooftop patio to chill on. I don't know what i want to place there yet, but it's nice and chill. Maybe i'll do like a rooftop garden or something or try building some lawnchair or something. Really give my house some nice details.

The inside is looking pretty cozy too. I did some windows that go around the whole building. Don't worry about the lighting, i got that taken care of a few minutes later lol.

My doors jut in a little bit which bothers me, but i'm not really sure how to fix it without either blocking the stairs or reducing my floor space by placing blocks inward. I could go from a double door to a single door and place some blocks next to the door, but i feel like that would look a little weird. I think this best option is just to try and ignore it

While the inside looks really nice, the outside... not so much. I need to clean it up and make it look nice because as you can see it looks like i just spat some blocks into a tree and called it a day. I'm thinking maybe some log trims and maybe some support beams too (also probably logs).

I've got some stairs heading further up to the balcony i showed off, which i have as an open door. I don't think many things will be getting up here so it's a nice sight. With the lack of phantoms i believe it's mostly safe though. I guess i'll find out the hard way though if not.

I think the next thing on my agenda for this save is too go get some more iron, and hopefully diamonds if i'm lucky. Then i can pop into the nether and explore around there. I also want to build a wall around the neighboring village to help keep them safe from Zombies. I feel bad leaving them undefended, so i want to help them. Maybe a few iron golems too. And a metric fuck ton of torches.

Bungie has issued an official statement, they are throwing an artist under the bus and pledging to make it right with the original artist.

This is a developing story.

You can see the writing on the wall for FairGame$ and Marathon from a mile away, and this can't possibly instill confidence in the people still working there.

I can't imagine playing this without a mouse honestly. It seems like the type of game where you would be 3 menus deep and alternating quickly between cookie clicking and managing buildings & upgrades.

Oblivion has been giving me issues all day and crashing, so i ended up just going to play Minecraft Xbox 360 edition instead. I found one of the old desert temples that use wool instead of clay. It makes me nostalgic. It made me realize nostalgia is also a hell of a drug lol. When i was younger i'd kill to get the latest updates on console with all the cool new things like horses and guardians. Now here i am going back to the version i started with. It's just ironic to think about is all.

With my luck the Temple was right next too a Village with a blacksmith too, which allowed me to get the iron pick in the screenshot above. Overall a sick setup.

My first night fell and i found a village in some plains nearby. I camped out in this house full of villagers and got surprised by a zombie because i forgot they could break doors on easy in this version. I put a block down in front of the door and we all hunkered down.

I ended up finding a jungle and built a tree house there. I haven't done a good tree house in a long while so i figured why not. If you look closely you'll notice i placed a block on the stairs. That's because for some reason skeletons kept coming up and nearly killing me. It ended up being a waste of time though because a spider got me instead.

Luckily i was able to get my stuff back and even got back with some wool for a bed. I lost all my logs though so i'll need to gather some more to keep working on my treehouse. Right now it's... something alright.
