I trying to minimize the amount of doom in my feed and filter some of it out. Done it fine with my subscription feed, but is there a way to filter the all feed?

Am I an idiot or is theming completely broken? I cannot set or modify any themes besides enabling/disabling the Material You theme.

I had created a custom theme prior to the 0.2.1 version and had been using it since then. I just went in to try to modify the theme and cannot save any changes. I modify specific colors and click the checkmark in the upper right and the changes are not saved, as when going back in to edit the theme, the colors are back to what they were prior to me trying to do the edits.

Also, I cannot change to any other theme besides material you. Where are you supposed to be able to actually select the theme for light, dark, and amoled? The only way I can figure out how you might change the theme is clicking the + beside the theme in the manage theme menu and clicking on set to X theme. This then doesn't do anything.

I enabled the material you theme and then clicked apply, and then under customization there is listed light theme, dark theme, and amoled theme with material you listed below. But I can't modify these or change to different themes after disabling material you. I can go delete material you themes in the manage themes and these go away under the customization menu, and now the theme is back to the default indigo dark, and there doesn't seem to be anyway to change the theme except to the material you theme.

I also get occasional crashes when in "edit theme" and trying to flip the set as X theme.

I really like the quick toggle in the menu to disable NSFW.

But I find that even with NSFW set to disabled, I get a few posts showing up.

Only if I also disable NSFW from the settings does Eternity truly hide NSFW.

Is there any reason or logic behind this?

First the bugs:

• Trying to edit the top tabs such as rename or rearrange seems to do absolutely nothing, although the changes that you make in settings seem to stick.

• Changing the default server for the 'Anonymous' account also seems to do nothing. Once again, the setting does stick though.

Observations / suggestion:

I notice that there is a placeholder for 'multicommunities'. And I think I came across one or two other things that are placeholders / leftovers from Infinity. So it's all good, everything from app to the platform itself is WiP.

My suggestion is that for now, while we can't create or add multicommunities and have a bit of variety in our feeds, what about being able to add the local feeds of other instances? So that regardless of which instance I'm signed up in, I can have my Subscribed, Local, All tabs, as well as for eg. a 'World' tab, 'Blåhaj' tab etc. Is this something even remotely possible? Don't think I've seen other apps with this idea either.

What the title says. Like 75% of the preview pics don't show up. Anyone know why that is?

Sometimes I want to hide some posts when I've seen them too many times. Unfortunately Everytime I try to I get the error message "unable to hide post". Am I doing something wrong?

For some reason when I select images and post it, my app crashes. But not when selecting text and then inserting it in markdown image link like this one below. (Just a test, ignore the meme)

Is anybody else facing this problem?

Is this supposed to select the account to submit the comment as? If so, this isn't working as I tried selecting my other account and it still submit it as the one initially selected.

Anyone else that when changing certain settings they won't change at all?

Like for example I changed the top tabs in the main page but they didn't change.

Enabling/disabling the NSFW on the left drawer is inconsistent.

Looks like I've a bug when my pages/tabs reset to default (Home, Popular, All), if I logout from my instance then it restore my personal settings. I don't know if it matters but I'm on slrpnk.net

I changed search order for communities search now community search just crashes app

Anyone else having an issue where they have to resubscribe to a community every time the app closes? For some reason in eternity it keeps unsubbing me from !c/comicbooks@lemmy.world every time the app restarts itself, and I have to go resubscribe. None of this actually affects my account, I guess, because when I sign in with other apps I'm still subbed to it, eternity just removes it from my subs on boot and won't show the content in my subscriptions feed. Is there any way to fix this?

Is there a way to export data from the app (saved posts, etc.)? Thanks.

Pretty nice. I can actually see my saved posts now. I wish there was a way for me to see the entire history of recent posts I liked or scrolled by but this is alright. Thank you dev and all contributors!

After the update to 0.2.1 I can't view any posts via Eternity (writing this on Raccoon, my account is on Beehaw). Tried logging out and back in, then deleting and reinstalling the app and then logging back in. Still "No posts found", I can see my subscribes communities from left sidebar but they all have no posts as well. Same thing happened for me on Voyager a few months back, haven't used that since..

Any ideas what to do? Thanks! 😺

The spoiler tags used in Eternity >!!< don't seem to be compliant with how the majority of Lemmy apps handle spoilers. The web UI for example uses the following:

It seems most apps follow this (Voyager for example).

This causes spoiler tags made with Eternity to be ineffective, since they don't show up as spoilers and vice versa. This can become quite annoying in communities discussing movies, tv, anime, books, manga etc

I just got the new update. It is actually a huge improvement

This only happening on link type posts. The buttons are appearing on text or images type post.
