Binotto with his knowledge and experience could be a good asset, though yet again I'm not sure that he should be a team principal. But from the outside this project looks like a mess, I'm not sure why would he go to Alpine.

I think Binotto is aiming for Audi, but if they are not interested for 2024 a d 2025 Alpine might be at least something until Audi comes in.

Both Alpine and Audi need someone who has experience in developing both chassis and engine, and I doubt Merc will ever take Mattia.
