Actually I had it the other way around. The item on amazon was like 25€ and on Galaxus 19€+3€ shipping, so basically the same.
In case of other products it was super helpful to have a product/shopping search going (like idealo) to find the lowest bidder.
But in sum I find the product search on amazon more convinient: I start there just to search different shops for the found product 😈.
Idealo belongs to Springer and should be avoided
I agree that it is preferable to use existing alternatives like geizhals.eu. But better to use idealo to discover European alternatives than buying from Amazon.
What's an alternative to idealo?

You can use them and then delete the parameters and cookies, stuff like
?p=65536&utm_source=PSM&utm_medium=idealo_de&em_src=pricecomp&em_cmp=idealoKay. Didn't know that. I used google product search, which should be avoided, too 😂
Thanks for the tip with idealo I always forget that you can check non tech items with it and found a few shops that sell the tegaderm roll for pretty much the same price.
